The Cross Country Event

W.A.L.T use poetic verse to recount an event we participated in.

The Cross Country event was usual enough; it had the
train tracks, the Cones, the rugby posts, the hedges and even nervous children.

My friends, my classmates and I did what kids do
- Zooming past everyone.

- Cold even though it's a sunny day.

- I did not drink much at the cross country.

- Dashing through the finish line.

- Jumping everywhere.

- Screaming my head off.
