WALT make a conclusion or an assumption Success Criteria When I am reading I will: Use the information in the text to make judgements about it. Use my prior (existing) knowledge to help make judgements about the text. Read parts of the text several times to make a judgement about the text. Know that the conclusion or assumption may not be directly written and I will have to use the information in the text to make one.

WALT use interesting and detailed ideas in our writing. Success Criteria: We have used some of these tools to improve our use of vocabulary: thesaurus, dictionary Banish Boring Words Visuwords www word cards from the writing tool box used ideas borrowed from other writing used figurative writing eg similes, metaphors etc

WALT measure length /mass/ capacity using appropriate metric units Success Criteria: We have: measured length using m, cm, mm and km. Measured mass using g, mg and kg ( and calculated using tonnes) Measured capacity using l and ml.
WALT i can recall subtraction facts to 20.
